With over 230 people on its membership and over 1,000 living in the community, Skowkale is a progressive and growing community that strives to support its members in a fair and equitable manner.

Skowkale is a member community of the Sto:lo Nation and is also a First Nation in the treaty process with the Sto:lo Xwexwilmexw Treaty Association

The'í:tselíya - S.A.Y. HEALTH & COMMUNITY CENTRE

The purpose of the SAY Health & Community Centre is to increase access to community, culture, recreation and health for the neighboring First Nation communities of Skowkale, Aitchelitz, and Yakweakwioose. The centre includes a gymnasium, fitness room, multipurpose area, youth room, reception space, washrooms, locker rooms, administrative space, playground, carving area, sports field, and cafe.
